Here are a few pictures from a recent trip to Kaimana Beach Park. We love it because the beach is in complete shade until noonish, which makes it great for babies. Our friends Lindsey, Bo, Sarah and Drew joined us.
We brought along a life jacket that Desiree had given us to see if Nate liked it. First, we tried it on for size. Anna, Bo and Lindsey's little girl, was very curious about the whole process. (On a side note, Anna and Nate were born on the exact same day!!!)

Safety first, Mom.

Little Nate just lay there while Anna checked that the straps were tight.

Trying it out with Daddy while Drew and Olivia supervise. Success!

The daddies and their babies.

Nate, now glad to be free of the jacket. What a funny kid.

Wow, I bet you scored mega points with mom with the life jacket! Can he move at all in that thing? He is getting so big! I wish I could see him this christmas!
ReplyDeleteTerrific pictures! I think you need to keep that picture of Anna checking Nate's life jacket straps for a future wedding slide show. Yes, I really like life jackets.
ReplyDeleteSee you really soon.
speaking of life jackets: I was always pretty surprised in high school when we took kayaking trips to the Moks with the McBane girls b/c they always insisted on NOT using a life jacket. I faithfully used one EVERY time I went kayaking (or surfing or swimming, for that matter), as I have a healthy respect for the ocean, but those McBane girls always seemed to want to flirt with disaster and mother nature in a way I was not comfortable with! Hopefully Nate gets my genes when it comes to water safety!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful family indeed! Merry Christmas! And blessings of God's full inheritance stored up for the Stevens . . .
